So we chase the Hive price, but look what we have for free.
The photo above was a new surprise, as I have never gotten one of these before. It is a "Long Skimmer" (Orthetrum trinacria)
They say that when you appreciate what you have, then you are ready for much more. Sadly all of us were born with an inherent "want" for more and we allow this want to rule our lives.
So what do I appreciate here on Hive?
Firstly all of the special souls that support our charity work, as it is by working with the poor that one learns to appreciate what one has. Secondly I appreciate every true and honest friend that we have here, as each of you are also special people in your own rights.
I will show you here what we have at no cost, that begs for our appreciation.
Some sights along our roads to show you some artistic delights.
Another shot of the dragonfly in the first picture.
Guess what this baby snapper turtle was sitting on?
Oh yes, it was sitting on one of the Weaver's nests. Basking in the sun.
The beauty of some flowers here for you.
Oh yes, there is a praying mantis in this picture below.
Finally, a late shot of a female Cape Sugarbird on a Protea pincushion flower.
These are the little things in life that I appreciate as I compare the artistry in nature to mankind's attempts at art as shown above at the sides of the roads. And there really is no comparison, me thinks! Our Creator was in a good mood when he created earth, and one can never see every stunning sight on this planet in one or a few lifetimes.
Every day is different and every chase is different. It all depends on what we are chasing after.
And That's All Friends!
