So blessed to stand on a high sand dune to take photos of the beach and the sea. My zoom worked overtime again.
Some lovely sights here to place a longing for the ocean in your hearts.
We had an appointment in the area of the ocean and I am never one to miss an opportunity to take some shots of the sea and the beauty of it. They say that a sea post without a bird in it is not a great post.
So come and look.
This bird is very hygienic conscious and he tried to poop in the bin, but the wind kept on affecting his aim.
A far out shot of the ocean and in the distance at the end of the mountain is an overhanging rock called "Hangklip" meaning Hanging Rock.
Here is a closer look at the "Hangklip" mountain at the right and there is a little town below it that we visit occasionally.
The ocean tides made some lovely patterns on the beach.
You will not drown if you walk barefoot through these water patterns on the beach. Instead it will be good as it massages your feet.
A gull hovered above a possible luck of food in the sea.
And here was another gull flying over the breaking waves.
Finally a look at the distant mountain from the top of the sand dune that I was standing on.
It is approximately 12 kilometers from the sea to the mountains and we live smack bang in the middle of both.
So on a day or in fact any day we can visit both or each individually.
There are also many farms and other small towns that are not far away, and nature scenes in abundance.
A place that can bring a great peace in one's heart.
And That's All Friends!
