A place on the southern tip of the African Continent that is surrounded by farms and nature.
A place that when we arrive at home and I get out of the car to open the gate, some of nature's residents have a look at me.
So wonderful to see the little and big birds welcoming us home, even amidst their late supper. One feels a part of nature here, and let me tell you that it is a great feeling.
We have a powercut in 20 minutes and I can't talk too much.
First up was a Cape Spurfowl at the front gate.
Then we had a little Swee with a grass seed in his beak, also looking at me.
This Cape Sparrow came to sit on the gate post to have a proper look at me.
Raining here now and I took a shot of the hills about an hour ago.
Life is interesting when you allow it to show you the treasures in nature, and it is also healthy with fresh mountain air. Although nature is beautiful, it can also become very dangerous as we can see in the current Fiona Hurricane that creates so much damage in the islands.
We simply have to pull up our socks and roll up our sleeves, and get stuck into negating all the damages that we have caused. Global warming is very real and we should all be worried about it.
Just my own thoughts.
Hope you have enjoyed the photos.
