They said it would be cloudy on Sunday and then I could not get the rising full moon behind a mountain peak. So how did I get this?
Oh yeah no sight of the full moon on Sunday, as the sky was crowded with clouds. I read the expected Sunday weather conditions on Saturday morning and knew that I had to cancel my Sunday plan.
No, I wasn't angry and no need to fight with the wife, or to kick the dog, as life happens.
So when your plan goes skew, you simply make another plan. The full moon was on Sunday where the day was predicted to be cloudy and the advancing cloud pictures that you see in here were taken by me on Sunday.
But I had to make a plan to get the moon on the mountains and I decided to go on Saturday, as then the moon would be 97% full.
Come and see the result of my solution.
Of course we had to wait for about an hour, but then she finally started to peep at me from behind one of the mountain peaks.
All of the cloud photos were taken on Sunday.
Voila! I retracted the zoom to get more of the mountain into the shot and there she was in all of her glory.
The sun in the wind driven clouds on Sunday.
And finally the sunset on Saturday.
Another problem fixed and I was happy with the photos. I took about 350 photos over the weekend at the mountains and also at the ocean and it was a busy weekend. This place has so much on offer and all that one has to do is to look where nobody else looks. Yes, we have many problems in our country and we face many of them at the charity, but I don't allow my mind to dwell on it. Negativity is a cancer and the daily news is filled with atrocities.
I hope that you enjoyed the photos and the story.
And That's All Friends.
