Shopping For Projects
Amazon Update
As an update to my previous post, Amazon did eventually deliver my package to the Post Office. It only took 9 days and 4 Amazon Customer Service employees dealing with my complaints for it to happen though.
The AU$20 of “promotional credit” went towards the Remote Control above.
The Shopping
The objects in the main photo above, in order from top left to bottom right are:
A small thermal printer, DJI Neo drone, 0.1mm black pen, white out pen, black paper, UK power adaptor, DJI RC 3 remote for the drone, staples, long arm stapler, The Art Of Spending Money, Create Your Own Zine, Making Comic Zines.
The Projects
The uses for the items are as follows:
The UK power adaptor is for a planned trip to England later in the year.
The drone and the renote control compliment each other and I got them because it’s a hobby that I really want to get into, eventually becoming licenced and eventually working in the industry.
The “Art Of Spending Money” book is the sequel to “The Psychology Of Money” which I also have yet to read when I get the time if just there as personal interest material.
The thermal printer, long arm stapler and staples, black paper, pens and the other booklets are for making either conics or zines.
I am hoping to make a few zines before a local zine fair starts up and I might even be lucky enough to either swap them or sell them. We’ll see.
These ventures are all new to me, and I know there will be a learning curve with it all, but I need to try new things.
It makes life a lot more exciting!
The trip to England is to meet a penfriend I’ve had for the last 30 years or so. I’ll defintiely be posting updates while I am over there too.
The Drone Flight
This is footage from my first flight with the DJI NEO. I didn’t have the remote control when this was shot and I was just using my mobile phone.
The thumbnail is clickable and was taken by the drone.
Thank you for reading. As a reward, here is a photo of a massive chicken schnitzel parmiagana with chips that I bought last night. It had to eat half of it the next day.
It was truly massive.
