This is our first post in the Silver Bloggers community. Our good friend introduced us to this community. We hope to share and learn knowledge and experiences with the forever young at heart like us. After all, life is a never ending learning process.
We had a 4-day weekend on Thanksgiving Day. This gave time to visit family and friends from other cities and states. My stepdaughter with her husband and two kids from Northern California came by. We thought of taking them to Disneyland but aside from the fact that entrance ticket to the park has become too expensive, they only have a few hours to spare. They had to meet up with other family and friends as well.
We decided instead to go and see the ** Night of Lights OC.** It’s a mile long drive-thru attraction with over a million lights and costumed actors, snowflake dancers and themed lands.
Now come and ride with us as we go through the 1 million Christmas lights journey in the safety and comfort of our car.
As we were on the long queue to the entrance, the guide instructed us to tune in to a particular FM radio station and so we did. It started to play “Jingle Bells” and other jolly Christmas songs all the way to the end of the journey. There is a posted speed limit of 3 mph for safety and to enable visitors to have enough time to view the different attractions and take pictures as well.
