This week our beautiful princess had to go to the vets due to constant vomiting and weakness. They gave her an IV for fluids and did a thorough exam and found nothing noticeably wrong. They decided to do a blood workup to see if it showed anything abnormal.
We brought her home and she continued to be very lethargic and would not eat or drink anything. It is so sad to see one of your pets suffering and when you have no idea what to do for them.
She just laid all day long in the same spot on the bed which was very unlike her as she would often switch bedrooms throughout the day.
The following morning our vet called and said that her bloodwork showed she was in the final stages of kidney failure. There was nothing they could do to help her at that point, and we decided to take her back in to have her euthanized.
Now, our Chej'u at 17 years old has crossed over the rainbow bridge to join our other pets to romp freely through the endless meadows of wildflowers.
