A nor-easter is blowing through western, N.Y. and dropping up to 12 inches of snow today after a week of warm temperatures. So far about 4-5 inches of wet, heavy snow have fallen. It sure is pretty but this one is putting a hurting on road travel and likely going to get much worse. I've heard that other parts of the state have gotten a lot more than us already.
I will take you on a photo tour around my home to see how pretty this snowfall is.

The Sparrows love resting inside the branches of these shrubs. the snow and thickness of the shrubs keeps them protected from the elements. It is still snowing and I can only imagine how much more snow will fall today. My hubby is out with the snowblower and shovel trying to keep up with it before it gets too deep.
Today is a good day for hot cocoa and a good book to read while a large pot of soup simmers on the stover for dinner.
