Hello Hello Hivians.
There were double celebrations today. First of all...
80th anniversary of VE Day
For those who don't know VE is Victory in Europe day from World War II and it was on the 8th May 1945.
I lost relatives in both World Wars.
War is such a tragic waste of life...
Our history in humanity has been littered with wars and bullying.
It just does not stop.
Each year there are less and less survivors from the armed forces who were in the second world war, fewer and fewer civilians who lived through it.
And the overriding theme and wish this year amongst the veterans and survivors is Peace.
I know only too well about Peace and Terror.
Having grown up in Belfast during the Troubles in the 1970s and indeed being forced to leave for Scotland, I know first hand what opposing religions can do to each other.
We were brought into this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing.
It is only human nature that when we are attacked, our lands are seized and our innocent civilians are slaughtered then we react.
Being at peace it would seem is not that easy for all our leaders.
May peace be with all of you
Those were the words not that long ago from Pope Leo XV the newly elected Pontiff from Chicago in the United States.

Robert Prevost, 69, will be the 267th occupant of the throne of St Peter and he will be known as Leo XIV.
He also has Peruvian nationality and spent so much time there.
Well if ever the world needs Peace it is now, the bridge-builder needs to make bridges between so many countries at odds with each other.
Thanks so much for popping in and may you have a fluffing awesome weekend.
