Hello to all bird lovers out there.
I was looking through my old videos on YouTube about the loves of my life, Baby and Beenie that I had for 24 years. I had Baby for 22 years and Beenie for 19 years. Beenie lasted 2 more years after Baby passed. I had moved and it was very hard on them. I did the best I could to take care of them.
I found a video that was so adorable of Baby with rice stuck to his beak. Baby loved eating rice! I adored Baby very much. I also adored Beenie who walks past Baby in this video. My pet birds where always the height of my day and gave me so much unconditional love. I looked forward to ever morning while living with my birds until I had to move. Moving was traumatic on all of us.
I always tried to feed Baby and Beenie the best diet possible for a cockatiel. Please, Never feed an all seed diet to a pet bird. Birds diets will vary depending on what breed of pet bird you have or pet parrot you have.
I don't ever suggest keeping a raptor as a pet bird but all they can eat is meat or they will die. Owls have to eat meat with bones and so do falcons. I am not positive about all raptors needing to eat bones. If owls and falcons don't eat bones they will not live either. Please correct me if I am wrong about which breeds of raptors need to eat bones.
This video below is about Baby eating rice.
I talk about healthy food for pet cockatiels in this video below. I hope you find it helpful. I will listen to it to make sure there isn't something I should add about the health of pet cockatiels here in my blog. I do say that the cage they have is the best cockatiel cage ever. I don't agree with that now. I think a larger stainless steel cage would be the best to have. By a larger cage for one bird I mean that a taller and wider cage made of stainless steel would be best. Stainless steel does not rust.
This video below is about how to take care of your cockatiel's health, part 2.
Have a great weekend!
