Couple In Flight

Sunday the 17^th was a pretty nice drive. We enjoy doing a little driving, and shopping on Sundays, and sometimes we like to stop and get a nice bite to eat at our favorite restaurant. With the current climate we prefer to get our food to go, and it is nice that the restaurant does provide to go meals. Beats fast food any day.

We have a nice place to go and have a car picnic that is not to far away so the food stays nice and warm, and that way we do not need to re-heat it after getting home.

There is a wetland area with a small pound that some birds and ducks like to enjoy, and we get to enjoy watching them while we eat.

Just after eating, and about 3 minutes after getting out of the car for some pictures, a helicopter had to go flying right over us, which scattered most of the birds. I was able to get a few quick shots of these two in flight.

Fortunately I was not zoomed in very much and the auto focus worked pretty well. It would have been nice if I could have been zoomed in a bit more, but I am still happy with the shot. Of course a little bit of cloud would have been nice, but the clouds were all off in the distance.
