Prothonatory Warblers are a common species in the wooded wetlands of the southeastern U.S., but are essentially never seen in the Pacific Northwest where I live, so I took many photos of this really attractive species. Here is a photo I did not discard, and it came into use for this contest. Who tries to take photos that don't show the head and face of the bird?
