Every week
hosts a fun contest in the Feathered Friends Community. This week's theme is FLUFFED-UP BIRD.
Would that make it a borb or a floof? I'm going with borb for this post.
Because my suggested theme was graciously used this round, I decided to go all out and dig through my photos for something non-crow. It was hard to find, but I did come across a few borbs in my collection. This Scrub Jay morphing into a borb is my entry into the contest.
Sometimes when I coo at my corvids they will fluff up and shake it off. Maybe it's the sweet nothings I whisper, or maybe I give them the chills, the heebie-jeebies, and the creeps. I'd like to think it's the former, but birds will tolerate all kinds of nonsense for a free peanut.
In my photos I also came across this tree that was CHOCK FULL of borbs that looked and sounded suspiciously like Cedar Waxwings.
I even took a video!
How did I forget that I took these??!!
I blame the crows.
Anyway, here are a few more old borb shots to close out this post.
Thanks for checking out my entry to the #smap contest! You can use the link at the beginning of the post to see the rules if you want to enter. It ends Sunday, so you still have time.

All the stuff (pictures, words, etc.) I put in this post and any of my other posts is mine (unless otherwise stated) and can't be used by anyone else unless the borbs and I say it's ok.
