We went to a local bird feeding station in Shillito Wood, Derbyshire. It's a nice place for a walk or just to watch the birds.
I wonder what the blackbird and the goldfinch are saying to each other?
One female pheasant turned up, disappeared and then returned with two of its buddies! Word got out, that there was food about. 🙂
A lovely nuthatch and a robin appeared. Two of my favourite birds.
Fisticuffs broke out between the goldfinches over the food. There was enough food for all of them though.
Along with the goldfinches, a great tit and some blue tits also appeared.
