Thanks for the nomination
Here's mine for picture 1.
Three little birdies sitting on the wire
The ginger tom below set to conspire
How do I get the birdies in my mouth?
How can I get them to come down south?
Alone while he pondered his eyes were set on the ground
The little birdies up above were watching what he found
Grain and seeds is what they were after
His smile grew into loud happy laughter
It startled all the birdies sitting up above
But their want for the seeds was rolled up in love
How hungry they were but they dared not pass
The pussy cat sitting below on the patchy dead grass
He decided to hatch a cunning plan
He’d hide behind something from the little birdie clan
Then pounce and prey, he’d catch him some dinner
If he didn’t find something soon he’d end up much thinner
His tummy growled and moaned as he slunk away beyond
He found a great vantage just behind the little pond
He eyed and he waited, his claws clenching the earth
He knew what his patience and his wait would be worth
One little birdie cautiously flittered to the ground
Grain and seeds are what he’d found.
The others soon joined him to share in the grain
They just couldn’t help themselves, they just couldn’t refrain
He ate a few seeds when he saw a small quirk
He eyed the large grin grow into a huge smirk
The ginger tom had crept up slow
They were so busy eating they didn’t even know
Swish and swash and a birdie was his
The other two leapt up to the wire in a tizz
He’d found himself some supper in a fair feathered friend
The other two mourned their buddy, it was saddly the end.
