We build our homes in the mountains, we build our homes on the ocean. We live betwixt nature and all or creatures. Yet, we sometimes view ourselves outside of nature.
We recently visited Houtbaai South Africa and there wild life mixes with tourists and local people. Seals are fed with the mouthes of humans and the gulls are naturalized with all the fish falling from the fish boats.
But this makes for some stunning photographs; it is a photographer's dream. So please enjoy these photographs that I took recently of these stunning creatures.
Postscriptum
It is amazing that our homes can become the homes of others; it is amazing that these creatures somehow found a way to live among us. We tend to be so destructive, but in the wake of our destruction, these animals seem to have found a way to survive.
All of the photographs are my own, taken with my Nikon D300 and 300mm zoom lens. The little musings of today are still my own. Me and is currently in a small town on the coast of the Western Cape, the time away from the busy world was needed. Soon, everything will again return to normalcy; work and play and study and life. I hope you are well. Happy birding, stay safe!
