This year in Spring I was able to take several pictures and a video of the songthrush sitting on a branch at the Inn River. It is one of the birds with a very beautiful song and I enjoyed listening to it. But Still I prefer the Nightingale that I was also able to record but on another day. If you don't know the song of the Nightingale I have to recomend it to you. The Songthrus is a little bit difficult to find since it has a very good camouflage color and is able to hide between the branches of a tree with ease. But when it is showing it's singing performance in spring you might often find it on top of a tree. The best time to watch it is when there are still no leaves on the tree and it is clearly visible on top of the trees.
