Last time when I visited lake Neusiedler in Burgenland I was able to take several nice pictures of the Black winged Stilts. The stilts usually walk through shallow water and pick their food from the shallow ground. I always find it very interesting to watch these beautiful birds and take several pictures of them. They look somehow majestic when they pick through the water with their beaks. They have a very slow and interesting movement.

I already took several pictures of these beautiful birds and I am always very happy when I see them again. Since now I only know one place where I can find them and this is Lake Neusiedler, they should also live at Lake Balaton in Hungary, Italy and France and I hope I might encounter them on my future visits to one of these countries.
