Blackbird visiting the small pond in the garden

We have a small pond with goldfish in the garden and in summer birds visit this pond for some clean water. One of the more common birds at the pond is the common black bird. This day in spring I managed to take some pictures of the male. It was jumping around on the rocks around the pond and also look in the soil to find some worms and other insects.

I really like the song of the blackbird, but it is not the most photogenic bird. They often sing in the evening, and it is very nice listening to them. The birds drink from the pond and also use it for bathing and cleaning their feathers. Not only black birds visit this pond but, also some other birds like great tits and goldfinches.
