These geese usually live in Africa and in the past where not so often sighted here in Austria but in the last years more and more specimens of the egypitan geese flew up to europe and now they live and even breed here on some spots. I was able to take some pictures of the Egyptian geese at the Inn River where there are usually some of them gathering in smaller flocks. In German the Egyptian geese are calle geese of the Nile, this is where these birds usually live, but not only the nile the whole southern part of Africa where there is not desert.
