I already showed you the pictures of the Little Egret hunting in the shallow water in this post, what I forgot is this pictures of it's elegant start when it hit of the ground and flew away. I really like how the wings of the birds are spread and eventhough I had a very short shutterspeed the wings are a lit blurry a the ends. Thats how much speed suddenly was in the bird. As sthe little egret is already a bit a bigger bird (eventhough its name says something different) it needs quit some power to take of for this weight.
The Little Egret is a bird that can be found here in Austria too very often but usually it is a bit more difficult to get that close. But it is highly dependingo n the spot and if they where hunted there in the passt or not.
