With a little luck involved Stefan and I discovered a little Pond where the Night Herons rest during the day and where it is possible to take some nice pictures of them. Eventhough most of the time the Light is pretty bad there and there are a lot of mosquitos waiting for you to come by. When the weather is hot and there are mosquitos starting to bite and eat me, I often only stay for several minutes on this spot since I don't want to be bitten by these little beasts. I wish I had a trained woodpecker or a blackcap or some other birds that feast on mosquitos, sitting on my shoulder and eating up all these little bastards that try to eat my blood, but unfortunately I don't have a bird like that. I already tried with different repellants for mosquitos but they don't seem to work, maybe someone here has a useful one he/she can recommend.
