Whenever I visit Lake Neusiedler in eastern part of Austria, the spoonbills are a highlight there. In the shallow water they look for food and feed their young. These are pretty big and elegant birds that feed on fish and insects they find there. Since they are pritty big birds they are always a Hightlight to photograph. This day when I took these pictures I had the luck that I was very early at a spot where the spoonbills arrived in the morning. The light of the rising sun in this situation is just great. This is something I like, having the rising sun and a perfect object in the foreground and knowing that the light is getting better and better every minute until early noon when the sun is too bright and shaddows are too strong.

Now in winter when everything is getting a little bit slower and there are fewer and fewer birds available for photography I might do some more photo editing and then I might also have more time to learn some more photoshop since I have to admit that I am not really the best in editing pictures. Then I also want to order some new pictures for my walls. Maybe one of these spoonbill pictures (I thing the last one in this post) will also be ordered to develop on Photo Paper.
