During my summer holiday I often visit the mountains and take some pictures of birds there since it is more difficult in the flat land here in Upper Austria to take some nice pictures of birds. Since during the hot days a lot of them don't show up and rest somewhere. Visiting mountains or higher spots give me better chances to get some nice pictures and these pictures of the Vutlures that I took at the Valle of the Vultures in Rauris is a good example. But these pictures were hard earned, it is a very long hike up there and one year earlier when we tried to get there it started to rain so we turned around and aborted the "climb". This year We'll try it again but not in the hottest time of the year but in September. Since we had really hot last year and I want to avoid such a struggle on one of the hottest days of the year. September should be already cooler weather.
