It is hot and sunny for most of the month. It rarely rains. Two days ago, the weather unexpectedly pleased us with rain. The next day it is already dry, as if it had not rained. But here and there there were small puddles, small accumulations of water. Jackdaws found a place to swim. They are so funny that I could not pass by. Behavior in birds, as in some people. Someone is trying to be the first, someone is inferior. And yet it was very pleasant to watch the jackdaws drink water and wallow in the water. And then the wet ones flap their wings, shaking off the water from themselves. But this can be seen in the video at the link below. The photographs were taken at the place where jackdaws washed their feathers. This is an elevation made of stone, there is a depression in it where water has accumulated.
Jackdaws are beautiful birds, I love to photograph them. In these photos, they have wet plumage, which is why they look like this.
