Hello Feathered Friends Community. I am back to welcome Round 158 of the Show Me A Photo Contest (SMAP) hosted by . Here's the link to the contest post. Do read up and join us in the fun.
This week's theme is:
TOGETHER
I have been trying for the last 6 days to capture birds together. But somehow the opportunity just did not present itself. Either the birds were too flitty, darting here and there, fluttering away when they sense you approaching them, or they were by their lonesome, perching atop branches and trees. I was resigned to skipping this Round when suddenly, right in front of our dining room, I noticed a frame hanging. It was a cross stitch piece which my wife did ages ago which she had framed. I looked closely, and this is what I saw.
Five birds perched on a pole or something. They looked so snug together and I suddenly remembered SMAP! It's not a winning piece but I now can at least enter because I now have a TOGETHER themed photo.
I tried searching Google what kind of birds these are and my best result is the Eastern Bluebird. Photo below is the actual bird courtesy of Pixabay.
And here's the place where I saw the frame. Right on top of my wife's glass and plate display.
And for my entry to this Round, below is a crop of the first photo of this post.
This was really fun doing this post. I don't want to miss a Round if I can help it. And anything that can help, especially when I run out of time and options, will most certainly do. Stay safe everyone. Good luck to all the participants. Have a blessed Sunday tomorrow.
