We are currently in the rainy season here. And that is why it has been raining continuously for several days. Occasionally there is a strong wind. As a result, the chirping of birds can be heard outside at night. And many birds take shelter in the plants in our house at night. The last two days ago when the wind was blowing hard at night I found an injured bird and tried to rescue and give it first aid and try to heal.
I was blogging sitting in the room at night when it was raining heavily outside as well as the wind was blowing hard. Outside of that time we kept buckets outside to store rainwater. Suddenly the sound of something falling in the water and shouting in the water came to my ears. I opened the door and saw something inside the bucket jumping for survival. I was suddenly frightened because the inside of the bucket was clearly visible. I thought maybe there was a snake inside because my wife had seen a snake in our house that morning. That fear came into my mind. Then I close the door and enter the room and open the window along the bucket and try to understand what is inside the bucket by lighting the flash light of the mobile through the window. Then I noticed a bird fluttering its wings in the water inside the bucket and trying its best to survive.
Then I opened the door again, turned on the flash light on my mobile, picked up the bird from the bucket of water and brought it to the room. It was shaking and could not sit properly. The whole body got wet and it became very weak due to flapping its wings for a long time. It was very shaky. I didn't know what to do. Then I brought a piece of cloth and tried to wrap it around its body so that the piece of cloth could absorb the water from its body. Then I tried to drop the water from the body because it was completely wet.
Then I tried to hold it close to the light so that it would feel a little hot. I saw that it had become a bit normal and it started rising on my hand. After keeping it like this for a while, I put it on a tea table. When it came back to normal after a while it was a bit scary to see me. So it tried to escape. But it was still raining outside so I wanted it to dry his body off the ground for a while longer. So I did not open the door and window of the room. After a long time later when they were completely dry and trying to jump from one place to another and try to get out, I opened the door to my room so that it could go to its normal position and feel comfortable.
Then it went under the bed. And after much effort it went out the door and flew away from sitting outside the door for a while. I also felt some relief then. It was a stork bird but its skin color was not well understood due to getting wet in the rain. Anyway I was pretty happy to see it when it was able to fly.
