Thanks
for the new contest on Feathered Friends Community and the theme of this week is CORVIDAE. I have decided to share some pictures of rare species of CORVIDAE, Red-billed chough and Yellow-billed chough. They are mostly found in high mountains mainly between 7,900 and 9,800 ft in the Himalayas. I am lucky to capture these Alpine chough species in Northern Pakistan area. I captured both birds near Khunjerab Pass border in the Karakoram Mountains 15,397 ft above sea level. Hope that in my next trip to Hunza I will get some closer shots and will spend some time with these beauties.
