Then what about egrets? Well here is the advantage, they can detect an object that is in cloudy water or is blocked by an object that can disguise an object, they really understand who is behind an object, if the egret's is able to detect small objects, or the presence of fish behind cloudy water.

It turns out that not only humans have eye lenses, egrets also have them, the eye lens found in every bird is said to be crystal, meaning the part of the eye located behind the pupil of the eye that functions to focus on the eye, or people say a retina, then works automatically to read every light that comes from every sight. Then how does it work? It is often said that when this muscle contracts, there will be a change in the size of the lens. the eye's ability to accommodate power. So any movement far or small can be read in terms of accommodation, and so on.
In simple terms it can be ascertained that, when an egret is exposed to an object that is considered important, the size of the eye lens will enlarge due to the influence of eye muscle function, thus distant objects can be detected as a result of the expansion of the power of accommodation itself, even though the important object is located, behind the murky water.
Every water bird that has the character of foraging in water and also flying birds that forage in certain locations, of course, is equipped with extraordinary eyesight, so that sharpness in detecting can adapt to its life, at least not experiencing hunger in an area.
There are several ways, egrets make decisions in hunting when they see something hidden, so how do they pick up on that signal? So in this case it can be said as follows.
By looking directly at the prey clearly and seeing the movement or impact of fish activity (if something is blocked)
The egret when carrying out daily activities in search of food in the form of small fish or small shrimp playing in the remnants of the water after receding. Then they must be directly from that location, with varying distances. if the water conditions are cloudy (keruh) then the presence of the body with the object of prey, with a distance of at least 1 meter, with the body of the fish (prey). So what they have to do is, make something that surprises the fish that are hiding in the watery mud.
When the egret's tiny feet react, by pressing on the watery mud, the fish that are hiding will be disturbed, and feel uncomfortable, so they look for the right location to hide again. When the fish is seen marked with the movement of water coming from the winged tail, then that is where the job lies, namely, preying on precisely and accurately, so that the fish has been trapped in its beak.
Fish that are in the mud, will feel the presence of the heron with the frequency of the water vibrating, so that the fish know the detection of its body, so it immediately moves with the aim of saving itself, but the egret's is smarter than the fish think, because when the small fish and shrimp move, with the intention of hiding themselves in a location that is considered safe. Then the situation is the greatest opportunity for egrets.
If the fish are in calm and clear water, of course, every fish will emerge from the surface to breathe air, the egret can also take advantage of this opportunity, by increasing the size of the eye lens so that it is easily detected. At that time the fish played with small hot air balloons made by the crane's feet in their own way, or with the small movements of the wind touching the water. In the end the fish always get stuck in the egret's beak.
Each animal certainly has its own way of tricking its prey when it wants to eat it and also has a barrier or distraction when it is about to be preyed on or something else, all of these characters have been around since they were around, and that ability has been possessed, when they became a species.
