Today was a really good day. It was the first time this year my daughter has left the house for something other than a bike ride or a walk around our home.
I have been scared of COVID but there are measures we can do to keep safe. I also don't want to rob my daughter of her ability to learn skills and experience things as she's at such a vital stage of development.
She told me she wanted a pet bird so I took her to a pet store where she got to hold her very first ever baby bird. A cockatiel which she absolutely adored.
We didn't purchase a bird today as she couldn't find one she could decide on. She wanted me to buy the whole shop! Lol
We will go back and buy her a bird but for the meantime we will stick to exploring birds in nature.
