The theme for the Show Me A Photo contest in the Feathered Friends Community this week is Funny Photos of Birds.
The birds are very active right now, and although I did not find any doing anything particularly funny I did get a few random photos that I wanted to share.

Male rose-breasted Grosbeak
Female rose-breasted Grosbeak
Because Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are sexually dimorphic, you would hardly think they were the same bird since males and females have very different plumage colorations.
There are so many fledglings just hatched and out of the nest! This male Cardinal feeds this youngster while mom is out searching for the nest site for their next brood.

male Baltimore oriole
female Baltimore oriole
Female orioles build the nests and often stop by my jelly feeder for a snack while they are working and leave their mouthful of nesting material stuck in the jelly. Their main diet consists of insects, but they do love a fruit treat!
