First 3 pelicans of the season spotted yesterday! When the river is iced over the eagles often congregate where the water from my spring flows into the river and keeps it from freezing. I've seen as many as 10 together but because it is boggy and muddy I can seldom get close enough to the mouth of the creek for a photo.
