I don't see crows land on my lawn very often; that must mean that this one had some important reason to strut around. I will often see them perched up high, and their caws are a common sound, but for one to come down, there must be some important business to take care of. It walked around for a bit, long enough for me to notice and get my camera out. I had to use a Nikon 200-500mm lens to get this one up close. I'm glad there was some good light, as their features tend to be so dark that it can be hard to capture some detail.
