The little things that make me vibrate with emotion, that make my heart beat faster... I always remember them with great affection. And sometimes I find myself quietly surrendered to the now and something happens that surprises me. It is as if a message is sent to me to corroborate that I am in the right place in my mind:
...Peace...
And a woodpecker knocks on my door... well, actually, on my coconut tree. 😁
I am so happy to see him carefree, doing what woodpeckers know how to do, and enjoying that moment of searching? What are you looking for there? Okay, I get it, you're just living like us but with the difference that maybe you don't feel fear. (Oh, a coconut just fell while I write this, and its thud on the ground made me jump out of my chair) I was going to erase the fear line, but the falling coconut prevented it. I don't know if you know what I mean.
We have that switch that will make us react depending on the situation, and we are going to make it, we will survive whatever comes with the right mindset, however, that is not the thing to worry about too much, but to enjoy the simple and great fact that we are alive.
By the way, today has been a very lively day in terms of feathered visitors here.
It turns out that when I had my morning round in the backyard and saw that I had ripe bananas to pick, I also noticed that some of them had been a treat for birds and other animals... so I took the ones that belong to me as the dweller and grower of this garden and left the ones they chose in a container so that they could help themselves as they pleased. Then I have seen from this spot where I am sitting now, blackbirds (totíes), pigeons, doves, hummingbirds, sparrows, American redstarts, red-legged thrushes... and this Jabao Woodpecker that maybe will make your day too 
It took flight and I wanted to photograph it as it flew but I didn't have the skill... the Panasonic would have done its best, I know, like yesterday with the squirrel. I have the 45-200mm zoom lens on so there you can see it doing what hummingbirds do with banana flowers. What a crazy woodpecker. 🤣
