When I discovered that kestrels are living among us, I pass by that block often to see if they are resting on the usual spot. Here it is - the male kestrel, perching on the concrete block. It doesn't look natural. I love to see them around and at the same time I can't stop thinking how much we took from their natural habitat, making them to adapt and live in this concrete jungle.
A new residential building is almost ready. Right now nothing obscures the view from the top floor. So, it was not a surprise to find our friend there.
And let's zoom.
It gives the bird a perfect view over the field where must be enough food.
The last two photos I took in June. We used to walk in the field there and often met the kestrels hovering above in search of food.
And that's it for today. Have a great Feathered Friday!
