This post is a continuation of my prevoius Swans and Gulls. When I went to photograph the swans, I encountered not just them and the seagulls, but also ducks and cormorant. If you are patient and not scroll right now, you will see their images at the end of the post.
If you remember the swans were surrounded hy numerous seagulls. The people on the beach were tossing food, causing a havoc among the birds. Here is another picture of how it looked like.
On the next photo the four swans were lined up like ships.
But this one with their heads stuck in the water is quite funny, isn't it?
This time the swans were all in the water, actually not all, because further away of the main group, this one was grooming himself or herself, I am not sure if it was he or she.
There were two seagulls like guards, then another appeared while the waves washed their legs.
And speaking of legs, look how short swan's legs are.
The swans are so elegant in the water with their long necks.
Very surprisingly three ducks were joining the party. Surprisingly to me, as I haven't seen them in the sea before. They too were very close to the shore, it seemed all birds were gathering to pinch as much food as possible.
And finally the cormorant, who was diving fast and thanks to its close proximity I managed these shots. First is the cropped image. Cropping the photos can show more details, but sometimes it can ruin the quality.
I was following the cormorant along the beach waiting to pop up in the surface.
Here is the diving.
And up again.
I wish I could have the cormorant with fish in its beak, but alas, not this time. Maybe next time.
I will leave the seagulls for the next post, although they presented in the first and in this post, but I will dedicate one post only for them.
So, until then, happy birding!
Thank you for viewing.
