Yesterday was a very cloudy day. But I decided to go to the park and watch the birds. Usually on such days birds fly away somewhere. The park is quiet and no one is visible.
So it was this time. A small river flows near the park. The river bank is close to the park. There are many different shrubs and trees in this place. You can always meet various birds here.
I'm lucky. I saw a jay on the branches of a tree. It was rather dark among the trees. I was afraid. that nothing will come of it and I will not be able to photograph this jay.
This jay did not sit out of place. She constantly jumped from one branch to another. I was constantly looking for something among the peel of the branches. Apparently she was hungry and had some food for herself. The branches of the tree were old and probably had many different insects on them.
In addition, she was not looking for food in the peel of a tree trunk. I tried not to move so as not to frighten her. But unfortunately all the time I had to look for a new angle. The branches of the tree often covered the jay and was difficult to focus on.
There was a lot of fallen leaves under my feet. After the frost, it became covered with ice and crunched strongly when I stepped on it. Jay constantly looked around. Perhaps my movements bothered her a lot.
And then it was still dark. The sky was full of clouds and there was a slight fog. In general, the weather was not very favorable for photography.
And then the jay turned away from me and did not want to turn to me. I had to patiently wait for her to turn. But apparently she was tired of the fact that I constantly bothered her and she, flapping her wings, flew to a neighboring tree, and then flew away closer to the river bank where a lot of dense bushes grew.
