The weather has finally improved today after two days of heavy rain and wind. The warm sun came out and the wind died down. In the morning I decided to go to the park. I did not dare to go into the forest. It has not dried out yet and it is quite difficult to go there.
The conditions in the park are better. A lot of young green grass has already grown and it is not so dirty to walk on it. Right at the entrance to the park I came across a small flock of finches. They jumped on the grass, branches and tree stumps. It was clear that they were also enjoying the good weather.
At first I photographed them from afar. Then, when they got used to me a little, I approached them closer. Birds merrily jumped from one place to another and looked for something in the lush green grass. Of course they kept looking at me. So I moved carefully so as not to frighten these birds.
There were many trees in this place and I tried to hold on to their trunks when I approached the birds. It’s good that the leaves had not yet grown and the birds were in full view. Some climbed onto the stumps and branches of trees and began to sing their trills.
Apparently they called the females in this way to jump together in this clearing. In the spring, birds always look for a mate to have offspring and raise chicks.
I often see finches in this place. Apparently they like it. Here you can also always see other birds that fly here to find food for themselves. It's good that different birds like this park. In a cold and difficult time for birds, visitors to the park take care of the birds and apparently the birds feel taken care of.
Good thing I went to the park that day. The park was warm and windless. It was easy to take pictures of the birds. I was very pleased.
