I am not much of a photographer or bird watcher, but on my Sunday morning walk, I came across these two rainbow lorikeets, so thought I would share them with this community.
I couldn't believe how close I could get up to them without them flying away. I managed to catch them flapping their wings which made for a great photo, with the head in focus but wings a little blurred.
Both these photos were taken on a Samsung S21FE, not a particularly fancy phone, but not bad for a phone camera. This was about 8am in the morning, so they were still active and around.
