First up we have a couple in a sauna and then some lovely raptors in flight.
The Hadida Ibis birds had a bath somewhere and here they were steaming themselves in nature's sunny sauna.
I have had to post later today, as the power cut has been changed from 8-10:30pm, to 6-8:30pm. So I had to wait another 30 minutes for the signal tower to boot up, before I could start to open my PC.
Not easy days here workwise, but good days to get out during power cuts to take photos in nature.
I took all of the photos in here during an earlier power cut.
Come and enjoy.
The guy was at the top and his girl was at the bottom in a high old tree.
This Jackal Buzzard came over to have a look at the Ibis couple.
In a second pass over, he shook his head at them as he disapproved of their public display.
Higher up another raptor also came to have a look at the couple in the sauna.
He shouted something at the couple, but he was too high for me to hear what he said :)
So you see, even in nature there are laws and rules and I don't think that the raptors were happy at what they saw today. Maybe the Ibises are two hippies that believe in free love :)
Any case, it was a wonderful opportunity to be out there and to see the birds, although as usual that sharp sunlight again offered me many challenges. Difficult to get clear images at great heights, especially when the images are not static. You must remember that the raptor birds are not only at a great height, but they are also not slow movers, and if that is not enough of a problem, then at any distance one has to also compensate for the heatwaves.
But I don't think I did too badly and can only hope that you like the photos.
And That's All Friends.
