I wonder what this crow family was shouting at the intruder?
We were in the 36 Celsius range here with no wind and the clouds came to rest on the mountains.
I came to get the clouds, but in the meantime I heard this ruckus between some crows.
It was a territorial thing and all.
This mature couple relaxed in the shade of a tree as the sun was fierce.
So this guy rocks up and he says; "Hey!, Scram as a man needs some shade here"!
The couple flew out in the road, as the new guy seemed like a tough oak.
But wait, their young son flew in to join them.
He is a soldier on furlough returning from a date.
So the action started as they turned and suddenly the old couple was full of fight.
The young son at the left front, dad on the right and mom at the back even picked up a stone.
The challenger decided to get out of there in a hurry.
But not to be as the young son was determined to get him, as they veered out of sight.
Nobody insults his parents and gets away with it.
Imagine what a hero this young crow is to his parents!
So, his parents like all parents will boast about the fight today to anyone that would listen and of course the father crow would say; "Yes, but I also had a hand in it and I taught my son how to fight" With his wife nodding sagely.
The son would agree, even though he only learned how to fight in the crow army.
This is the way of love!
