Approximately in the beginning of autumn, Great Tits begin to slowly appear in cities. And by the beginning of the cold weather, they can be seen and heard in every courtyard of the city. And at this time I put the feeder on my window.
They quickly find my feeding trough, because they remember how I feed them every year. Moreover, they look at those tits who in the spring do not fly away into the woods but remain in the city.

Feeder covered with snow and hungry yellowbellies were in confusion and bewilderment.
One of the birds generally began to look in the windows, and knock on it.
In the future I tamed her, and when she flew in, knocked on the window. I treated her with peanuts from my hand.
With the onset of spring, 99% of the birds fly into the forests, to breed.
And one or four birds remain in the cities. And no, these are not birds I have tamed, not high or low-ranking. I can’t understand the reason why they prefer to stay in the city.
This year there were birds that I did not know at all. All those whom I fed in the winter, I tamed everyone to take food from my hand, in addition, I remembered their behavior and the pattern on the abdomen.
Two pairs of birds, one live near the house, and the other pair somewhere in the neighboring house. They are completely shy. And they took it from nowhere, and the most interesting thing is that they know about my feeding trough! It seems that someone told them about me in advance.
But nevertheless I managed to tame the male with great difficulty, it is he in the photo.
The second pair from the neighboring house no longer flies to me, they got chicks, I saw them in the yard. And the other pair continues to arrive, but less often than before. Mostly in the morning, when it’s cool, and before the rain. Still, great tits are insectivorous birds, and feed mainly on insects, but in bad weather nuts are good.
