I decided to make a selection of birds that I met on the river bank.

This place in the photo is located far outside the city, there is a river flowing there and along the banks you can see various birds that live near the river.

Little Stint
I encountered this tiny sandpiper, or rather a small group, in mid- or even late September. They were clearly migrating to warmer climates and had stopped on the shore to grab a bite to eat.

Little Ringed Plover
I often encounter these nimble little fellows in the summer. They move in short sprints across the pebbles.

Ruff
These waders can be seen along the river in mid-September during their migrations. They like to rest on small pebble banks.

Common sandpiper
These waders are found along the river throughout the summer and into late spring.

Grey Heron
These long-legged birds appear in these areas in early May and in the fall.

Herring Gull
These birds arrive in mid-spring and can be seen throughout the summer. However, by early autumn, they gather together in large colonies that look like styrofoam balls from a distance.

Common greenshank
I don't see these sandpipers often, and only in this spot.

Merganser
Of course, there are ducks on the river. And these are the most common. They like to relax with their families on the small banks.
