One spring day I went to the forest. In the midst of the mating season for birds.
In the first photo, this male was inspecting a fallen tree for food, but found nothing. Then I put some sunflower seeds in there, and he saw it and came back, allowing me to photograph him.

And this woodpecker found a very convenient place to drum and attract females. HE sat there for a long time, called, and sometimes drummed.
