๐ฆ The pine bunting (Emberiza leucocephalos)
๐ Emberiza embritz (Old German) bunting
๐ leucocephalos Greek: leukos white, kephalฤ head
I met this bird near the reeds. This place is located near the coast, there is a river, a coast nearby. And if you turn, you can go out into a small forest. And in front of the forest itself there are bushes and reeds. And when I passed by them, this bird flew out from somewhere inside.
In principle, the birds of this family prefer to live in the bushes.
But this species, as you might guess from the name, tends to coniferous forests. And in that place tall pines just grow.
