Look at the sad face, it made me sad too!
I went to a nearby grocery market and I found a shop that is selling birds. My 4 years old son was with me. You can guess, how curious he was seeing the pigeons on the cases.
It was his first time encountering any captive bird. He asked a thousand questions, like if they can fly, why they don't fly away, why the shop owner keeps them in cages, and so on...

People like to keep pigeons as pet birds. They are very friendly birds. They don't fly away if they get enough comfort, security, and food. I have seen how easy it is to keep them as a pet. But still, people keep them in cages.
We are far away from banning this. But what do you think, should it be or not?
I hope one day we will understand, one day we will learn to prefer others comfort over our happiness.
