Swallows

Hi everyone.

I hope you are having a great day. Today I am sharing some swallows that flew into my carport in Spain.

Swallows are being wiped out by agricultural practises of using harmful pesticides. The pesticides kill their source of food - insects or they eat contaminated insects and are poisoned. The bird Society in Spain says they are being lost at a rate of 500,000 a year.

Their nests are protected as are they, which is of limited help when the use of such hideous farming products goes on being used, unhindered.

They are always welcome visitors on my organic homestead!
