House Wren
Every spring the house wrens make their presence known by singing the sweetest song. This little male had been singing his heart out waiting for a female to arrive.
He had been busily placing sticks into all the birdhouses. He chooses 3 or 4 of the small houses throughout the yard, working very hard to please his future mate. I anxiously await these little birds to enjoy their precious song once again.
