Today dawn I handfed Solymocska (my male Barbary falcon) for the first time. And in the previous few days we spent a lot of time walking in the park. My falcon saw and heard various things for the first time. The first impression about this is very good.
He does not fear from dogs, and he does not fear from the people either. Except sudden movements. He was scared by a running child. And a car came close, and he was scared by that too. But other than these things, nothing scared him. This is surprising, because he is a parent reared falcon. He did not saw, and he did not heard any of these things so far.
Of course over time he can get used to the cars too. Similarly to my female Harris's hawk. At first she feared both from the dogs (she screamed at them) and from the cars too (she tried to jump off from my hand), but she got used to them over time.
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Spain.
