Today I made two telephone calls. One to the bird hospital, and one to the local animal rescue association. They have not picked up the telephone. Probably they will call me back tomorrow (on 2023.01.28). If not, then I will try to call them again.
About the current condition of bird:
Today she had a somewhat better appetite than usual. She ate almost 0.20 dkg of turkey liver (with one Lavet calcium tablet), and one small chicken wing. And she does not look that tired as yesterday.
The above is promising.
But I also noticed that she is preening and straching a lot. And more of her feathers fallen out, while she did these things. Probably something indeed jumped to her from that mouse approximately one week ago.
I know (I heard from one of my falconer friends earlier) that she grow her feathers back only once per year. So growing back her fallen out feathers will take one year.
Tomorrow I will keep trying to reach the bird hospital and the animal rescue association, if they will not call me back.
If I will have any news, then I will write about it.
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
